State-agency gun ban

A gun ban in state agencies is an invitation to criminals saying,"come on in, were unarmed". How ridiculous to think this will make employees and visitors safer. Criminals and the mentally disturbed don't obey gun bans or the law in general. Law abiding citizens are the ones that will be hurt by this regulation by making them potential targets. All of the recent gun assaults in public locations have been in gun-free zones, so why create a policy that clearly doesn't protect anyone. Could it be that this is a starting point to completely disarm the public and make the Second Amendment irrelevant? Throughout history governments have subjugated their citizens by disarming them, we will not stand for it!
