Why are you denying VA Citizens and ME the right to self-defense

I'm really agitated by the liberty you taking with your elected position for your own personal opinions and beliefs.  We elected you to be a leader not to mandate your will.  Your proposed gun regulation is not sound and has no statistics to back up the result you claim or expect to achieve.  Have you looked at the statistics in gun free zones?  Criminals don't care about regulations.  Just look at how well our drug laws are working.  To best of my knowledge we have had no shootings in our state agencies and your proposed prohibition on those with concealed handgun permits is without justification unless it is your personal opinion that is the justification.  Why is it that almost all regulation punishes the good, law abiding citizens for the acts of a very few?  We have to stop this madness.  Does the Governor have the explicit authority for this act?  This regulation should NOT be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn immediately.  Also, please extend the comment period for another 90 days.
