Gun ban at state govenment agencies

The gun ban at Va. state agencies is not acceptable because it poses a safety issue for the general public.  While gov. officials might have armed body guards protecting them whereever they go the general pulic does not .Our lives matter just as much and we have a right to self protection.  Under the US Constition this natural right to be armed and protect ourselvest is suppose to be proteced  and guaranteed by the Fed. government.  Instead, government on all levels is trying to deny us our natural right..  By creating gun-free zones (soft targets for terrorists) the government is putting American citiens in danger  and this should not be tolerated!.  If an incident does occur those who proposed this ban should be held responsible.
