Emotional reaction

It appears to me that this emergency ban put in place by the Govenor is an emotional response to the terrorist attack in San Bernandino CA.  I recognize that he felt compelled to do something in wake of that attack but I do not believe taking away the right to carry a firearm was the most benificial strategy.  I strongly believe in the second amendment and I think an initiative to support more conceal carry would have a higher deterring effect against attacks like these.  If more people were armed and taught to carry their weapons responsibly then the impact of an attack like San Bernandino would have resulted in fewer deaths and perhaps even quicker apprehension of the terrorists.  Conceal carry would also have a significant deterrence against crime by making it more difficult for criminals to identify easy targets.  I hope this ban is lifted at its expiration and we take a more intellectual approach rather than emotional reaction when considering our safety.
