Why deny Virginia citizens right to self-defense?

Where is your authority to require someone to be a victim?  How do you derive your authority?  Last I knew it was from the consent of the governed, I sir do not consent.  Natural law grants me the authority, the right and the ability to fight off an attacker, not your permission.  I am not required to be a victim and your illegal and unconstitutional edicts hold no weight.

You can publish all the executive orders you want, you can repeal section 13 of article 1 all you want, but if you read other sections you would learn our rights do not come from you and we do not need you to grant us permission to defend ourselves with arms.  In today's world that would be firearms.  If this were 600 years ago "arms" would refer to swords, daggers, clubs and the like but the meaning would remain intact.  We free people do not need you to protect us, it is our responsibility to defend ourselves
