I am strongly opposed to the new regulations as proposed.  My professional life is designing public schools thorughout the state, and our designs incorporate strong sustanable design strategies for LEED and non-LEED projects.  I am in agreement that we should make significant efforts to clean up the Bay and provide responsible site designs.  However, these regulations appear to fly in the face of many of the sustainable design strategies and will, in effect, contribute to urban sprawl and suburban development.
