I am opposed to schools usurping the rights of parents to know about what their children are planning in regards to gender and health related decisions. I am opposed to biological males, no matter if they choose to be called female, being in the restroom with biological female students unsupervised. I am opposed to allowing biological males to compete against biological females in sports where the biological male has an advantage due to physical ability linked to the fact that there is a male chromosome which gives them a different build and physical ability that biological females cannot overcome.

I have no problem with anti bullying, calling the person whatever they or their parents choose or allowing them to dress however they wish. I do have a problem with punishing a teacher, staff member or another child for inadvertently not using the preferred gender or name.

The school board should concentrate on academics for all children and let the parents deal with gender issues and any other health or sexual issues. Help should be provided for any child being bullied and also for any child who is perceived to be a bully.

Again, usurping parental rights in order to promote an agenda many parents disagree with is not acceptable and has no place in our schools.
