Abortion facilities need to uphold the standards as stringent as other surgical centers such as ambulatory surgical centers and hospital surgery departments.   Any regulations deemed too onerous or medically unnecessary would be equally onerous or unnecessary at other surgery facilities, or else we would be setting up second class facilities and intentionally allowing them to provide substandard services.
