Abortion is an invasive procedure that must be regulated!

First let us be clear- Abortion is not healthcare because it ends lives rather than healing them. Women who undergo an abortion procedure have numerous health related side effects that do not promote a healthy state of being. But, since the practice of abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the same regulatory safety requirements as other healthcare facilities. In short, the women of Virginia deserve the utmost protection that solid, consistent safety regulations provide and ensure when undergoing any invasive medical procedure, including abortion.
