.Just realized that the Notice of Intended Regulatory Action published in the Virginia Register of Regulations on December 14, 2015, regarding the prohibition of carrying concealed handguns in State buildings and  offices states that a Public Hearing will NOT be held for this proposed regulation.. 

I therefore request that a Public Hearing be held prior to implementation of the proposed regulations  to prohibit carrying concealed handguns in Executive Branch controlled offices.  Since such regulations will have a state-wide impact, I request that public hearings be scheduled throughout the Commonwealth to allow citizens and organizations to comment without excessive personal travel cost.
