I travel for a living. I am in areas of some of these states and DC where a conceal carry is needed for protection. As I travel in VA and other states, I live in hotels and are around soft targets that bad people or even terrorist can target. Need I remind you, the strict gun laws in CA never stopped the mass murder of the  innocent. Had anyone concealed carry at this holiday event then perhaps someone would have had a chance to defend. You are not stopping anyone from bringing weapons to VA. You are not stopping anyone who wants to do harm. Please just take a look at today's Daily Press 12-24-15. Man shot four times in Newport News, Police arrest man in armed robbery. Despite your attempt, these killings, this illegal use of guns will continue to be a part of the news and yet you attack law abiding citizens.

In a recent meeting with the Virginia Department of Health at the DEPOR building a sign is posted "no guns allowed" I walked in and asked the security officer if they had protection. No was the answer. I took the elevator to the second floor and I asked the security officer there if they had protection. No was the answer. So here I am in a Virginina Enviromental meeting, no protection and wondering if the same thing can happen here in VA that happened in CA. The answer is yes. It can happen and, all you have done is, make law abiding citizens soft targets in VA and across America. When people die at the hands of bad people and they will die AG, I hope you can look yourself in the mirror and say, you did all you could to protect us, now that you have taken our rights away to defend ourselves across America.
