I fully support the use of dry needling by physical therapists.  Many of my patients have had improvement with pain and function after receiving this treatment.  Dry needling was never explained to me as being acupuncture by the therapists providing this service to my patients.  Physical therapists are qualified to provide dry needling and should be allowed to continue to do so.
