Extend the Comment Period! Repeal this unconstitutional order! Protect our second amendment rights!

I vehemently oppose this executive order. When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. Nearly all shootings occur in gun free zones because criminals know that there will be no armed citizens to oppose them. In the tragic murder of Adam Ward and Alison Parker there was no armed citizen to stop the murderer. The same applies to the Virginia Tech shooting and all shootings. We responsibly armed citizens who follow the law are the only ones who comply with gun bans. Criminals do not obey gun bans. They are criminals! By defininition criminals do not obey laws. This ban is not about public safety, it is about restristing the librties and the second amendment rights of law abiding citizens.

I REQUEST THAT THE COMMENT PERIOD BE EXTENDED! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL CITIZENS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WEIGH IN ON THIS MATTER!

Furthermore, this is a legislative matter not an executive one. The governor does not have the authority to implement this executive order. This matter should be decided by the people and by the legislature. We live in a constitutional republic and this is a lawless usurpation of the checks and balances instituted by the founders.
