The Governor has neither the authority nor the public backing to impose his personal prejudice against gun ownership on the public.  This ban is in violation of the Second Ammendment to the US Constitution and therefore illegal without congressional approval.  The danger of this legislation is that it will leave law abiding citizens at the mercy of criminals who couldn't care less about the legality of their weapons.  I urge the cancellation of this atempt to impose restrictions on the legitimate need for citizens to be able to protect themselves and their families.  Please extend the comment period to allow  for full participation by all concerned.
