Unacceptable, Unwelcome,Unfortunate,Unnecessary

As a lifelong Commonwealth of Virginia resident, active voter and historically a Democrat who understood that Virginia Democrats generally represented many of my social values save abortion, welfare and few others I always was confident that my firearms rights remained a sacred and off limit territory for political pandering or tinkering. Unfortunately this new attack as far as I am concerned on the rights of thoroughly vetted citizens is disgusting, unnecessary, useless and affront to how law should be created and applied in our state. This proposal or "EO" appears to completely bypass any true method of taking citizens actual desires into consideration and usurps law by creating new rules or laws at the whim of a one term executive as opposed to a true representative or through any true representative process. Choosing or deciding to continue to do business in this manner only reinforces my better judgement to vote Republican. I take this action and potential change very seriously and hope that the governor and his staff...advisors and those who support this abomination of process reconsider THIS action and any future action taken using this method unless it can be justified and there is no means to embrace the traditional process of placing it on the ballot. I understand there may be times or needs for these actions however using this process to undermine rights clearly could never have been its intent or purpose and frankly continued abuse should be grounds for investigating the initiation of censure or other actions to affirm that citizens of THIS Commonwealth will neither tolerate or sit idle as our rights are imposed on and process of law is arrogantly sidestepped. Bottom line... This citizen says this is wrong and I do not support it. More importantly I am willing to switch parties over THIS action.
