Banning the ability of law abiding U.S. citizens in government facilities to defend themselves, at a time when Americans could be attacked by terrorists is sheer folly.  It has the effect of making us even more vulnerable!  I also travel through Virginia to visit my relatives and I think it is a prudent measure to be able to protect my family, not only from the potential of terrorism but from criminal elements as well! I have considered moving to Virginia but, such a ban will certainly alter my plans.  I am former military too.
