Symbolism over substance - stop this regulation

This proposed regulation will do nothing to curb gun violence.  This is a solution without a problem and only creates gun free zones where those who would inflict harm on others choose to stage their atrocities.  Disarming the law abiding does not make them safer.

It should be noted that the Governor has no authority granted to him for imposing such regulations.  This is a flagrant violation against our constitution.  If the General Assembly wanted the Governor to have such power, they would have granted it to him explicitly as is required by the principles and means of self-governance enshrined and established on our constitution.

Such regulations should not be approved.  Withdraw this "emergency" regulation.
