RESCIND the Governor’s “Emergency” state-agency gun ban – Deadly and a Disgrace!

I am absolutely opposed to the Governor’s “emergency” gun-ban in State agency buildings.  As it stands this regulation is a dangerous and disgraceful act that denies Virginians the basic right of self-defense and makes our State an easy target area for terrorist conduct, violent criminals, and anyone “criminally insane.” No problem is being fixed but a major public and personal safety condition is being fermented. Disarming law abiding citizens never has and never will make our State a safer place; only the opposite has proven to be the case.  There is absolutely no justification to needlessly endanger innocent citizens in this misguided process.

Given the holiday Season; I also request that the extremely short review period be extended to give more people a chance to review and comment on this gun-ban regulation. It will also provide time to assess the Governor’s claimed authority to enact such a regulation.
