Concealed carry ban in public government agencies

Prohibiting concealed carry firearms by duly licensed persons not only prevents the public from defending themselves but jeopardizes the safety and security of employees as well. Creating gun free zones exposes our citizens to needless risk. Based on recent tragic events it should be evident that we need to train our existing concealed carry permit holders to be able to properly respond to an emergency. Retired law enforcement and retire military can be an emergency's first and best response. Disarming the best and perhaps the first line of defense is counterproductive and creates a needless risk to life and liberty.
