Gun ban is useless

It is my understanding that the Governor’s gun ban on weapons in Executive buildings includes off duty law enforcement. It seems ridiculous to me that as a LEO, when I am off duty, I am somehow become a threat to the Commonwealth that I apparently am not when I am on duty. In addition, individuals who go through the training and requirements to get concealed weapons permits are very conscientious about what they do and how they handle themselves. Not only are they aware of the escalated nature of them being armed, but to act inappropriately will cause them to loose their coveted permit. I do not fear legally concealed carry firearms or the individuals carry them. I do fear radicalized individuals and I see nothing in this ban that would prevent them from making a suicide attack just as I see nothing addressing mental health issues and access to guns which are areas the Governor should be focusing on in my experiences as an LEO. This ban should not become permanent.
