As an active LEO and now retired I've witnessed first hand what happens when you institute gun free zones, you turn them into potential killing zones.  I'm sure the Governor feels very safe walking through any of these "zones" unarmed surrounded by ARMED security.  It also strikes me that this is the height of hypocrisy.

Anyone who wishes to be unarmed and defenseless is free to do so but they don't have the right to tell the rest of us to give up our rights, and that includes the Governor.
