Banning weapons didn't stop the shooting at the Naval Shipyard in DC

Everytime a violent crime happens, the first thing people want to do is ban guns. Guns are not the problem. Hate, greed, mental instability are the problem. Millions of law abiding citizens carry weapons for their own protection every year without incident. It is the criminals who don't respect laws. We should make ban against criminals from entering these buildings instead.

In Virigina, hundreds of people have visited the executive buildings without incident for years. Proof that the problem is not the gun owners. I know, I have been one of them for the last ten years. Banning weapons from these buildings, which have armed police officers, aren't going to make them any more safe. In fact, it will make them more dangerous and easier targets like all school buildings are today, with the exception of those schools that actually allow teachers to be armed.

This is a bad choice, it's unconstitutional in VA, and it's just plain silly. Do not pass a gun ban in the VA executive buildings.
