Gun free zones are a target for terrorists, don't endanger State workers with this

Governor McCauliffe, your gun ban in State buildings endangers lives and plays into the hands of those that wish to bring harm to our citizens. Since the 1950s all but two mass shootings have occurred in gun free zones. These attacks are made easier when people are left unarmed and defenseless. Now everyone will know there is a safe place to carry out their murderous attacks, your gun free zones. You have no authority for this ban, and since there have been no shootings in these buildings it solves a problem that does not exist. The cost of providing additional security to protect everyone who has been disarmed by this regulation will be prohibitive. This regulation should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn. Please extend the comment period so more can express their opinion on this misguided action. Mac David
