Disarming good Virginia citizens (who are the only ones likely to obey the prohibition) does not make us safer. Taking away our rights to defend our home and property leaves us with no protection. 

In the event of a home break in, would leave the home owner defenseless. Criminals will take what they want and leave quickly. The home owner calling the police knows that it takes time for the police to arrive.
