Do Not deny citizens the right to protect themselves

It is well proven that terrorists and crazed individuals will attack other people regardless of the location. Office complexes and  government building are not always protected or secure.  If citizens that legally carry firearms are allowed to do so, then many incidents would probably be stopped or reduced in scope.  Someone with evil intent does not know who carries and who does not.  This uncertainly in itself will stop attacks.  Any government official who thinks they are creating a safer environment if they disarm legal citizens do not know the facts about evil intent and are niave about human nature.  Let me be the one to protect others with my legal right to carry when I am in such a location and face this type of situations.  The Governor of Virginia has the wrong mind-set with regards to history and is very ill informed, as well as those who believe the same. Ask the dead from Virginia Tech, Oregon and California.  Oh, I guess you cannot since they were not protected and lost their lives because of niave officials.  Best Regards, and Merry Christmas.
