I have just written a three paragraph discussion adressing the foolishness of trying to ban guns from public ownership.  However, before having the chance to submit it, it was suspiciously "deleted".  

Is this  the type of control our political leaders want in our lives.  We do have a Constitution that our leaders have sworn to uphold, that includes freedom of speech, as well as the right to bear arms, among others.  Enough is enough!  Our leaders are supposed to represent and protect us, not control our every move. 

Simply put, if The Politicos succeed in taking our guns away, the only ones that will have them, besides the Military, Police Force and Government Agencies, are the bad guys!  this does not make me sleep well at night.  Those agencies have already proven how ineffectual they are in protecting us...

If we allow them to take away our own protection, we are asking them to victimize us!  Maybe this is what they want after all....
