Horrible idea

Why is this a good idea? Every concealed carrying citizen in the state of Virginia that has a concealed carry permit and legally carries, has undergone a state approved firearms safety class. They have undergone a background check that shows they aren't criminals, and most continuously go to the range to sharpen their skills and abilities. These are exactly the people you want carrying in the executive offices, law-abiding citizens. creating a gun-free zone only allows criminals to continue to possess firearms with no equitable defense, allowing mass shootings as history has shown. 92% of mass shooting casualties in this country since at least the 1950s have been in gun-free zones. Again this is horrible.
