I am strongly against abortion, but  I do feel abortion facilities should have to adhere to the same regulations and or guidelines that outpatient surgical centers do. If you truly are concerned with women's health, than you would want women who visit these clinics to be assured that  instruments were clean and sterile, emergency crash carts available and personnel properly trained and licensed, and paients informed of all their options and risks that may occur with having an abortion. The risk following or during an abortion is hemorrage, infection, and potential death of the patient or a loss of her fertility. This is a no brainer to me. Once again if you are truly concerned about women's health, you would see that statewide regulations for licensure should be in place.
