Virginia citizen opposes unnecessary and harmful TRAP regulations

Please base healthcare decisions on health, care, and facts and reject TRAP.

I have been following this saga for a while and am still confounded and sadded at how the political and regulatory system is being twisted to promote a very narrow moral agenda. If there are any reasonable and rational reason why TRAP is needed from a health care and scientific standpoint, I have yet to see them.

The clinics targeted by TRAP already have good safety records; the argument that TRAP is needed to protect patients is complete nonsense. On the contrary, it would serve to unecessarily reduce the health care options available to Virginians, particularly those with limited financial resources that are most in need.

So again, please base our healthcare regulations on what provides the best healthcare for Virginia citizens. TRAP is definitely not that.
