The proposed TRAP regulations have no proven medical benefit to patients.  They are not about the safety of outpatient medical facilities, since they apply to only one type.  They are specifically designed to impede the continued availability of safe, legal first-trimester abortions.  These regulations will increase the financial hurdles to women's health care, disproportionately affecting lower income patients.  Women need more access to affordable, high quality health care - not less.
