Permanent Abortion Facility Regulations Help Protect Women’s Health

Since I was a young child, my parents taught me to take care of the unborn child. I am now almost 50 and I strongly support the current regulations on abortion centers approved overwhelmingly by the Board of Health.  These regulations should be made permanent and continue to include the strongest standards.

I refuse to accept the premise that abortion is health care because it ends lives rather than healing them.  However, the existence of the abortion industry under the guise of “health care” is a sad and tragic reality in our Commonwealth and our country.  The current regulations are reasonable, common-sense measures to ensure that life-saving equipment is on hand, infections are prevented, and clear written policies and building guidelines are in place.  Please maintain strong permanent abortion facility regulations to protect the health and safety of women.

My second daughter Elizabeth Marie Glaser was born still in 2000. I felt incredible guilty that my body was not able to take care of this PERFECTLY healthy baby.  I can NOT believe there are women and me who support women's abortion. If only you could see the little feet & arms moving and hearbeat at age 37 weeks and then one day the baby is no longer alive. Our daughter died of unknown causes. How can anyone allow another human being to kill a tiny innocent human being with abortion.

Thanks for respecting the life of the unborn child.
