I am writing to strongly oppose the irrational TRAP regulations. Their intent is solely to shutter legal abortion clinics, and they will succeed in doing so, forcing women who need or desire to terminate a pregnancy to turn to the unsafe back alley providers of yesteryear. But the regulations will also force out of business smaller clinics and older hospitals of all stripes, regardless of the services they provide and the clientele they serve, if they cannot afford the arbitrary architectural modifications that TARP mandates. Please show that Virginia cares about all patients and vote against TRAP.
