I have lived in the Commonwealth for over 40 years.  In that time, I have seen Virginia grow in so many positive ways – and some not so positive.  Over the last several years, I have found that Ken Cuccinelli has allowed his very extreme personal/religious/far-right ideology become what he has in mind for our state and this is very frightening to me and many others. 

The TRAP regulations are another attempt to ‘turn back the clock’ in women’s health issues.  These regulations offer no advancement to the welfare and health of women in Virginia.  Woman of all ages will suffer for this if this goes into effect as basic health care will be denied.  So many women depend on these clinics for their basic health needs and it will be a crime if this passes.

I urge that this does not happen.  I am 63 years old and I think what the Attorney General is attempting is just another attempt to make the Commonwealth another news issue in the national press.  God willing, he will not become our next Governor.
