The abortion industry and its supporters claim to be "pro women" but Virginia's abortion clinics, in many cases, do not meet even minimum standards for cleanliness and safety.  These clinics need to be held to the same high standards of other medical facilities, for the safety and protection of women.  I am not a supporter of abortion under any circumstances because I believe in the sanctity of human life; however, women who choose to access these facilities need to have protection under the law that they will be cared for in a professional, clean, and safe environment.  Facilities that continue to ignore safety measures should be shut down permanently.
