As I have consulted with various building officials regarding this regulation, there seems to be disparate treatment of abortion clinics vs colonoscopy clinics, etc. With organizations like the Family Foundation pushing anti abortion messages and their pro life agenda, and the current board member with the same, the theology of health restrictions are what are being addressed. As a civil rights group, for any group to be singled out for different treatment due to a theological ideology is a challenge to the civil rights of that group.
