To the Board of Health,
As a born and raised Virginian, I like to have pride from where I'm from. Growing up here and going to college here, I have come to learn to the place that I have called home for so long has forgot about me and my rights. As a woman, I believe that I have a right to my body and my decisions are my own. I believe that my decisions should be private. But not only that I have the right to these decisions and the right to choose, but that I also have the access to make these decisions. These regulations don't make me anymore safe or healthy. In reality, it will hurt Virginia women by not giving them the access to basic healthcare, giving them access to a legal medical procedure. How can politicians that claim to be conservative, that claim that unnecessary regulation is wrong, now want to impose unnecessary government regulation? You can help Virginia women, you can help them keep their access without political motivation. Virginia women are counting on you to make the right decision. The width of doorways and the amount of parking spaces have nothing to do with health and safety. If your goal is truly ensure safety and health, then please oppose these regulations.
Thank you,
Sandra Sanchez
