It is imperative to make permanent the emergency regulations currently in place for abortion centers in order to ensure the health and safety of women.  These are common-sense measures aimed at keeping women safe and similar to those regulating all other ambulatory health care facilities.  Why should women who choose to abort be put at risk and not entitled to the same protections as those provided at other health care centers.
