Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

Medically inappropriate and unnecessarily burdensome regulations restrict access to essential health care services for the women of Virginia, especially young, low-income, uninsured and minority women by decreasing their health care options.Women's health centers have a proven safety record, including abortion procedures.THe regulation proposed will also limit access to preventive care -- including screenings for cancer, family planning, and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment.Bottom line: TRAP will hurt all Virginians -- it will mean more burdensome, intrusive government laws that, in the end, will hurt families and shift costs to all tax-paying citizens. Please oppose this proposed legislation.S H Mills
