|Goals of Regulation||
To protect the public health and/or welfare with the least possible costs and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth.
To ensure protection of public safety and welfare through monitoring of shipments of hazardous radioactive materials being transported in the Commonwealth.
To protect the public by enabling enforcement of applicable federal regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials by the state and local police.
