Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
Title: Review Process for UECA Environmental Covenants Guidance No. LPR-REM-2019-01. This guidance document is intended to finalize the trial implementation draft guidance document dated November 2011. This guidance document provides an overview of the Department of Environmental Quality’s Uniform Environmental Covenants Act (UECA) Regulation and establishes procedure for DEQ staff when reviewing a proposed UECA covenant. This guidance includes general background information concerning UECA covenants and their implications in Virginia; an explanation of participating parties; and the processing UECA covenants.
