Conversion therapy is a complete lie! I know because I lived it, was counseled by it, ran an organization and network around it, and practiced it as a lay counselor for two decades. It promises a false belief. People’s attractions don’t change. People are harmed. They are led to believe it will help but all it does is worsen the person’s mental and emotional well being to be angry and feel less than for having gay attractions. It needs to be wholesale banned.
