Strongly Agree

The verification and administration of digital impressions is more than just capturing pictures of the teeth. It is an opportunity to interpret the condition of the patient, be it an oral cancer evaluation, occlusal vs muscular evaluation , a stage for planning/discussing/educating patients with future conditions and problems. Dentists have a wide scope of knowledge which are at the disposal of patients to make a safe decision. Technology is rapidly advancing but the principles we have established as a profession are consistent. Underqualified individuals have the best intentions but are not aware of all the variables that need to be evaluated. That is why we offer this intensive training to dentists, to help piece the puzzle together. Skipping this vital step of supervision, harms the public at large by non-diagnosing unnoticed conditions.
