I would like to protest the TRAP regulations because they are not based on best medical practices. These regulations do not make abortion safer for women but only make it more expensive and time-consuming for a woman to get health care. The recent closing of a clinic due to the lack of funds in Fairfax City simply means that women will go to DC here in Northern Virginia. In college at JMU the 1970s I was asked to host a friend of a friend from downstate because she needed an abortion. I will do it again if these regulations are not cancelled.
