I am deeply concerned about changing health standards to be more lax on abortion centers. There have been numerous safety violations in this state alone over the last 2 years in Virginia, and nationwide the pattern is the same. This is an invasive procedure that can have profound effects on the woman having it done to her, and we owe it to her to provide the best medical facilities possible should she choose to have this procedure done. This should be the stance regardless of ones personal opinion of abortion. Planned Parenthood is by no means strapped for cash and could easily upgrade their centers to comply with the health standards. Please do not make lives for women already going through a harrowing life decision even worse by adding medical issues from poorly maintained centers on top of it.Keep the medical standards high in Virginia, across ALL medical facilities, Abortion Centers included.
