The TRAP regulations do not protect womens health. TRAP restricts womens access to a wide variety of health care services, including cancer screenings, primary care and family planning. If TRAP was purely about safety, then cosmetic and oral surgery clinics that do not conform to these onerous regulations would also be restricted. TRAP was created to legislate the ideology of a minority of politicians not to protect citizens and their rights to lawful medical procedures.
