Regardless of whether one is pro-abortion or pro-life, every woman deserves a safe environment for medical procedures. That includes cleanliness, properly trained personnel, basic health and safety standards, and hallways and doorways wide enough for emergency equipment when things go wrong. The more than 300 violations documented by Department of Health inspections over a two year time period show that the abortion industry will not regulate itself. The abortion regulations which were passed are vital to the safety of women. I urge you to uphold the previously passed abortion regulations. Ann Poindexter
