Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

Please, make the most logical choice here, and not be swayed by those with their own political agenda or trying to save a buck or two. Just like we regulate the human food industry, the barber/cosmetology industry, or any other industry that deals with humans, now much more should we be regulating an industry that deals with surgical procedures and bodily fluids"! If a human is getting ANY medical procedure done, there must be regulations to keep the public safe - simply because human nature doesnt usually care for strangers like we would our own family. The abortion industry MUST have stringent medical rules, regulations and frequent/surprise inspections, and a public website to post the rating of each facility (by location), to educate and protect the public who use their facilities. These facilities should be just as safe as visiting a hospital! Please dont be bullied by Planned Parenthood or any other organization that downplays public safety. Keep Virginia women safe by ensuring clean facilities, competent/educated/licensed staff, emergency ready technology (and staff who know how to use it), and that there are scheduled/regulated practice drills on how to identify and respond in the event of a medical emergency.Thank you for your time. Mrs. Boni Kreider
