Uphold standards

Any argument that postulates first and foremost that TRAP must be repealed in order to protect “women’s health” is startlingly disingenuous, as the fact of the matter is that the regulations were written to protect women’s health. The progressive left has redefined “women’s health” and “reproductive health” as “abortion on demand,” in a manipulative effort to grant their cause more legitimacy. This helps stave off dissent from those who are afraid of seeming like an inhuman brute for “denying” them “healthcare”: more rhetoric that requires translation, and in actuality means, making access to abortion more inconvenient for them, as it is still legal in the state if they are determined to snuff out their “clump of cells.” Abortion as a medical procedure (to use their rhetoric) carries substantial risks. Standards must remain high in order to protect women. Abortion clinics should have no less stringent standards than other medical facilities. That is simply sanity. Preferential treatment for abortion centers is transparent pandering to the Democrat voting bloc of single women, who Democrats need to keep living in a sense of oppression in order to woo their votes. We the people will hold those responsible, accountable.

To those many young women who have already been wooed by the Democrat rhetoric of "access to reproductive care," which again is a code word for "abortion,"  I urge you to consider that life begins at conception and that when you are older and outgrow your liberalism, you may regret forever aborting a human life. The scientific consensus is that life begins at conception. Demand better for your politics than the easy access to aborting a human life because you failed to plan your pregnancy. If the left indeed cares about the preciousness of human life as much as it purports, upholding the standards of TRAP is the only logical, ideologically coherent, and humane option.
