Board of Health,
I have been working with women for the past ten years who face unplanned pregnancies. Most have chosen to carry their children to term but for some the initial shock has caused them to panic. These panic feelings are an emotional response to an unexpected situation. These women need a little time to process and see how they can cope. Ultrasounds help the women make good, long-term choices. Women deserve to receive good health-care at local clinics where any emergencies can be handled safely. Please remember your decision should not be based on political philosophy but on the medical protection for the women. Margaret Shaw
