As a former Labor and Delivery Nurse, I know intimately the anatomy of an emergency.It is difficult enough to stave off tragedy when common-sense regulations are routinely followed. But when there are no regulations, or when those regulations have no teeth for enforcement, its only a matter of time before personal tragedy ensues.The Commonwealth of Virginia, having put in place common-sense, basic regulations for abortion clinics, cannot go back. The lawsuits against the Commonwealth, and the national media frenzy would scar Virginias reputation, and damage us immeasurably. Rosemary Antunes, RN
